Life as a Journey: Embracing the Musafir Within

I embrace the identity of a traveler, for I perceive life as a constant journey. This perspective leads me to understand that life encompasses both worldly journey and internal voyages. I find myself in perpetual motion, flowing like rivers in harmony with the rhythm of nature.

Sometimes a journey from the body to the mind; sometimes a journey from the mind to the body. Sometimes a journey from country to abroad; crossing borders and immersing myself in diverse cultures. Sometimes a journey from abroad to country. Sometimes, my journey leads me from the bustling capital to the farthest reaches of the west, or sometimes from the west to the serene east. I am captivated by the realization that life is, fundamentally, an interconnected series of journeys. As I currently make my way from the east to the capital Kathmandu, I am reminded of this profound truth.

Traveling on a night bus, an route from the east (Biratnagar) to the capital, I am accompanied by the cherished memories of attending my friend's wedding. As I reflect on the joyous celebration, I find solace in the knowledge that life is an ever-unfolding journey. This particular journey not only represents a physical return to the capital but also serves as a metaphorical return to the essence of love and connection that the wedding embodied. Amidst the solitude of the bus ride, I delve into the depths of introspection, finding inspiration in the union of two souls and contemplating the significance of meaningful relationships along life's winding paths. Reading my long-awaited book named "Man's search for Meaning" amidst this reflective ambiance, I am immersed in a state of profound meditation, blending the experience of travel with the sacredness of love and companionship.

“परमआनन्दपूर्ण जीवन जिउने त्रि-सूत्र- अन्तरमुखी हुनु (मौन) , वैराग्य हुनु (जिज्ञासु) र एकान्तवासी हुनु (एकाग्र) हो। मौनताले आत्मज्ञान खुलाउँछ, वैराग्यताले मायामोहबाट मुक्त गराउँछ र एकान्तवासले सिर्जनशील शक्ति बढाउँछ।”---SatBhim
