मनको मिलनदेखि वैवाहिक बन्धनसम्म: जब हाम्रो प्रेमले सात फेरा पूरा गर्यो



हाम्रो प्रेम कहानी

प्रेमको बिजारोपण जुन दिन भयो, त्यही दिन दुई वर्षपछि हाम्रो जीवनको सबैभन्दा महत्त्वपूर्ण क्षण आयो— हाम्रो शुभ विवाह । म (भीम) र मेरी प्रेमीका (कमला) को पहिलो भेट २०७९ साल फागुन ९ गते भएको थियो । त्यसै दिनदेखि हामीले एकअर्कालाई माया गर्न थाल्यौ । बिस्तारै बिस्तारै हामीबीचको आत्मीय सम्बन्धले गहिरो प्रेमको रुप लियो । दुई वर्षसम्म हामी कहिल्यै एकअर्कासँग सम्पर्कविहीन भएनौं, बरु हामी हरेक दिन घण्टौं घण्टा फोनमा कुराकानी गथ्र्यौं । फुनमा कुरा गर्दा हामी सधै दुःख सुखका कुरा गर्ने, हाँस्ने, रमाउने र बालापनदेखि अहिलेसम्मको अनुभव साटासाट गरेर हामीले एकअर्कालाई गहिरोसँग बुझ्यौं । दूरीले हाम्रो प्रेमलाई कहिल्यै कम गर्न सकेन, म जर्मनीमा अध्ययनरत थिएँ, उनी नेपालमै, तर हाम्रो मन भने सँधै एउटै धड्कन्थ्यो । दुई वर्षसम्म कहिल्यै झगडा गरेनौं, किनभने हाम्रो सोच, व्यवहार, दुःख सुख, संघर्ष, अनुभव, विचार र सपना एकदमै मिल्दोजुल्दो थियो । भनिन्छ– जन्म, विवाह र मरण देखेको हैन लेखेको हुन्छ, ठ्याक्कै त्यस्तै भयो । हाम्रो पहिलो भेटको ठ्याक्कै २ वर्षपछि २०८१ साल फागुन ९ गते, हामी विवाहको पवित्र बन्धनमा बाँधियौं । 

शुभ विवाहको अविस्मरणीय दिन



हाम्रो योजना अनुसार २०८१ साल फागुन ९ गते नै हामीले एकअर्कालाई जीवनसाथी बनाउने निर्णय गर्यौं । सोही अनुसार फागुन ८ गते जगिया लगाएर, शुभविवाहको पूर्वाङ्ग गर्यौ । बिहेको दिन हाम्रो बसाइ काठमाडौँको मातातीर्थबाट जन्ती गएका थियौँ पूर्व प्रमुख निर्वाचन आयुक्त सूर्यप्रसाद श्रेष्ठको घर चक्रपथमा, किनभने मेरी प्रेमीका उहाँको नातिनी थिइन् । हामी करिब ६५ जना जन्ती उल्लासमय पञ्चेबाजा र नाचसहित भव्य रमाइलो गर्दै गएका थियौँ । बिहेको पूरै संस्कारिक विधि सम्पन्न गर्यौं, सबै परम्परागत रीतिरिवाजहरू पालना गर्दै, सात फेरा घुम्यौं र बाचाकसम खाएर विवाह बन्धनमा बाधियौं । दुलहीलाई घर भित्र्याउने क्रममा बैनिहरूले परम्पराअनुसार बाटो छेके । बैनिहरूले बाटो छाड्न मोलमोलाई गरेको क्षण अझ अविस्मरणीय रह्यो । दुलही भित्र्याउने सबै विधि पूरा गरिसकेपछि दुलहीको मुख हेर्ने कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न भयो, जसले दुलहीलाइ हाम्रो परिवारसँग घुममिलन र चिनजान गराएर उनलाइ पारिवारीक नाता गाँस्न सहज गरायो । यसरी फागुन ९ गते हाम्रो जीवनकै सबैभन्दा महत्वपूर्ण, स्वर्णिम एवं शुभ दिन सावित भयो । जे भएपनि हाम्रो मिलन केवल संयोग मात्र हैन, बरु दुई वर्ष लामो प्रेम र समझदारीको सुन्दर परिणति हो ।

रिसेप्सन भोजको भव्यता

बिहेको भोलीपल्ट फागुन १० गते, सम्राट पार्टी प्यालेस, नयाँबजारमा, हाम्रो रिसेप्सन भोज थियो । १५० जना भन्दा बढी आफन्त, इष्टमित्र र साथीभाइहरू हामीलाइ बधाइ तथा शुभकामना दिन पाल्नुभएकाले हामीमा उत्साहको कुनै सीमा थिएन । रमाइलो नाचगान, खानपान र शुभकामनाले वातावरण उल्लासमय बनेको थियो । त्यो दिनको भब्य रमाइलो क्षणहरू हाम्रो स्मृतिमा अमिट रहिरहेको छ । खासमा हाम्रो विवाहले हामीलाई मात्र होइन, सबैलाई अविस्मरणीय क्षणहरूको उपहार दियो ।  

प्रेमको सफल परिणति

यसरी, हाम्रो दुई वर्ष लामो प्रेम विवाहमा परिणत भयो, र हामी गृहस्थ जीवनको मार्गमा अगाडि बढ्ने प्रण गर्यौं । उनी मेरो प्रेमीकाबाट मेरी जीवनसंगिनी भइन । समग्रमा भलै हाम्रो विवाह सभ्य, सरल र सिम्पल भए पनि भव्य र स्मरणीय रह्यो । यी पलहरू जीवनभर हाम्रो हृदयमा सुनौलो सम्झनाको रुपमा रहनेछन् । विवाहको दिन हामीले केवल संस्कारहरू मात्र पुरा गरेनौं, बरु जीवनभर सँगै रहने संकल्प समेत गर्यौं । 

यो प्रेम, बिश्वास र आत्मीय सम्बन्धको यात्रा जीवनभरि यस्तै प्रगाढ बनिरहुन् । हाम्रो प्रेमकथा, हाम्रो विवाह र यी सुनौला क्षणहरू सँधै स्मरणीय रहिरहून् ! ❤

जब मेरो मसँग भेट भयो...!



जब मेरो मसँग भेट भयो, तब संसारका सबै तिर्सनाहरू, चाहनाहरू र आकर्षणहरू विस्तारै मर्दै गए। आत्मासँगको यो साक्षात्कार कुनै साधारण घटना भने होइन । यो त अस्तित्वकै सबैभन्दा गहिरो यात्राको चरम बिन्दु हो । आफूलाई चिन्ने र बुझ्ने काम संसारकै सबैभन्दा सरल जस्तो देखिए पनि, वास्तवमा त्यो अत्यन्त जटिल, गहिरो र दुर्लभ कुरा हो । जब मानिसले आफ्नो वास्तविक स्वरूपसँग भेट गर्छ, तब उसलाइ बाह्य संसारमा केही भेट्न, बुझ्न वा प्राप्त गर्न बाँकी छैन भन्ने बोध हुन्छ । त्यो क्षणदेखि संसारको सम्पूर्ण रंग, तरंग, स्वर र गति सबै आफ्नै अन्तरमनमा समाहित भएर शान्तप्रिय हुन्छ । बिस्तारै अरू मान्छेसँग भेटघाटको इच्छा, सम्बन्धहरूको आवश्यकता र बाहिरी उपलब्धिहरूको मोह एक एक गरेर हराउँदै जान्छ । अनि थाहा हुन्छ( जसलाई म सधैं बाहिर खोज्दै थिएँ, त्यो त म स्वयं नै थिएँछु । तर दुःखको कुरा के छ भने, धेरै मानिसहरू जीवनभर आत्माबाट टाढै रहन्छन् र अन्ततः आफूलाई नचिनीकनै यो संसारबाट विदा हुन्छन् । चिन्नेहरूले पनि धेरै ढिला, अन्तिमचरणमा चिन्छन, जसले गर्दा जीवनलाइ असलि अर्थमा जिउन पाँउदैनन । यही नै मानव जीवनको सबैभन्दा ठूलो विडम्बना चक्र हो ।

हरेक चाल जित्नको लागि मात्र हैन, केही शंकट टार्न पनि चाल्न सिक्नुपर्छ !

Gurdjieff-and-Ouspensky


ओस्पेन्स्की (P.D Ouspensky) एक त्यस्ता स्कलर थिए जसले गुर्डजिफ (George Gurdjieff) को आध्यात्मिक एवं दार्शनीक कामलाइ अघि बढाउन प्रयास गरेका थिए । तर,  ओस्पेन्स्की एक शैद्धान्तिक स्कलर थिए तर उनको गुरू गुर्डजिफ भने एक कस्मीक म्यान थिए । गुर्डजिफ खासगरी पूर्वीय दर्शन, वेद, योग, ध्यान, साधना, सभ्यता, सस्कृतिबाट व्यापक प्रभावीत भएका र इन्डियामै बसेर पूर्वीय दर्शनको गहिरो अध्ययन गरेका व्यक्ति थिए । गुर्डजिफले शीवको तेस्रो नेत्र वा थड आइ वा तेस्रो विधि जस्तै चौथो बिधि (फोर्थ वे) को आविष्कार समेत गरेका थिए ।  गुर्डजिफको यही विधि मा अध्ययन अनुसन्धान गरेर आध्यात्मिकतालाइ पश्चिमा जगतमा ब्यापक फैलाउन भने ओस्पेन्स्की सफल भएका थिए ।

गुरू गुर्डजिफ र चेलो ओस्पेन्स्की दुबै बहुत रमाइला थिए । हाँसी मजाग गरीरहन्थे ।  ओस्पेन्स्की चेस खेलका बहुत सौखिन थिए । एकपटक, ओस्पेन्स्कीले गुरू गुर्डजिफलाइ गुरू! आज चेस खेलम भनेछन । हुन्छ नि त भनेर दुबैजना चेस खेल्न थाले । ओस्पेन्स्कीले शुरूमै गुरूलाइ चेक दिएर ग्याम जित्छु भन्ठानेर एकदम कडा कडा चालहरू चाल्न थाले किनभने ओस्पेन्स्कीलाइ थाहा नै थिएन गुर्डजिफ चेस खेलको एकदम चतुर खेलाडी हुन भन्ने कुरा । गुर्डजिफले पनि एकदम अकल्पनिय चालहरू चाल्न थाले, गुरूको कडा कडा चाल देखेपनि ओस्पेन्स्की खुद आफै कुन चाल चाल्ने भन्ने सोच्नै बिर्सन थाले । गुर्डजिफले भने ओस्पेन्स्कीको थिंकिंङ प्याट्रान लाइ नै डिस्ट्रब गरिदिन्छु भनेर बहुत चलाख, र्यानडम एवं रणनीतिपूर्ण चाल चालिरहेका थिए । 

गुरूको यस्तो अकल्पनिय स्किल देखेर ओस्पेन्स्की तीन छक त खाय खाय, तर अन्तत ग्याम ओभर नहुदै उनले सरेन्डर गरे र भने, माफ गरिदिनुस गुरू हजुरको चालले मेरो सोच नै खलबलियो । तब गुरूले भने, हेर ओस्पेन्स्की शंकट जताबाट जतिखेर पनि आउन सक्छ, हामीले होसपूर्वक एवं ध्यानपुर्वक हरेक चाल चल्नु पर्छ । हरेक चाल जित्नको लागि मात्र हैन कि केही चालहरू शंकटलाइ टार्न पनि चाल्न सिक्नुपर्छ । तब, ओस्पेन्स्की गुरूसँग माफि मागेर यो जिवन्त ज्ञानको लागि धन्यवाद भनेर गुरूसँग कहिल्यै तुजुक देखाउन नहुने रहेछ भन्ने पाठ सिकेर गए । यो कथाबाट पनि हामीले ध्यान, आध्यात्म, धैर्यता र शुन्य-अहंकार बारे राम्रो पाठ सिक्न सक्छौ ।

युगकै महान दार्शनीक एवं आध्यात्मिक गुरू सदगुरू ओशो समेत यी दुइ गुर्डजिफ र उनका चेलो ओस्पेन्स्कीको प्रशंसक थिए किनभने उहाँहरूले अघि बढाएको "चौथो विधि" वा "फोर्थ वे" ले वाकहि पश्चिमा विश्वको आत्यात्मिक क्षेत्रमा व्यापक रूपान्तरण ल्याएको छ ।

In the midst of the ever-looming "Alarm of Food Crisis" a disconcerting trend has begun to take shape, shaking the foundations of sustainable living. It is a trend that sees people, in pursuit of modern comforts and luxurious lifestyles, turning away from the traditional fabric of village agriculture and flocking to urban centers. The allure of urban living, coupled with the prevailing view of it as a symbol of progress, has contributed to the gradual erosion of a once-steadfast connection to the land and its agricultural roots. This shift has led to a gradual abandonment of the traditional farming way of life, with more and more individuals relocating to urban areas. This phenomenon raises questions about the sustainability of such a pattern.

In parallel, a disheartening shift has emerged within families, as parents increasingly shy away from passing down the age-old wisdom of farming to their children. This generational gap in knowledge transmission threatens not only the survival of agricultural traditions but also the very essence of self-sufficiency.  The distancing of parents from involving their children in farming reflects a broader societal shift away from valuing and appreciating this essential occupation. As farming knowledge becomes a forgotten language, the intricate dance between humans and the land becomes strained, raising questions about our ability to provide for ourselves in the face of the mounting food crisis.

Furthermore, a distressing trend has emerged among educated individuals who harbor disdainful views towards farming as a viable profession. This derogatory perception overlooks the critical role that agriculture plays in ensuring food security and sustenance for communities and nations. The irony of such attitudes lies in their ignorance of the fact that the food on their tables and the life they lead are intrinsically intertwined with the laborious toil of farmers who cultivate the land. If they do not respect the agricultural profession, then what will they eat when the farming culture becomes extinct? Will they resort to consuming stone or sand? This underscores the pressing need to address this disconnection from the very roots of sustenance. Because if these trends continue, there is a growing concern about the long-term consequences on food production, livelihoods, and the overall well-being of societies.

In light of these developments, the need for a transformative shift in our collective mindset becomes increasingly evident. Amidst the growing din of the food crisis alarm, a clarion call echoes - a call for everyone to embrace agriculture not merely as a vocation but as a way of life, a way that harkens back to our origins and strengthens the bond between humans and the earth. To ensure food security, we must encourage a cultural revival that holds farming in high regard, celebrating it as a noble pursuit. Touching the soil and nurturing plants must be revered as acts that harmonize the lives of people with the natural world, rather than being relegated to the margins of our consciousness.

By adopting agriculture proudly and with a sense of purpose, we take strides towards dismantling the resounding ring of the food crisis alarm. In my pursuit of a healthy and fulfilling life, I stumbled upon three simple yet powerful keys that have unlocked the door to joy and vitality: cold water bath, sun bath and forest bath. These three practices, which have been passed down through generations in various cultures, have profoundly impacted my overall well-being and have the potential to extend one's life for centuries. Embracing these natural therapies has transformed my life and I am eager to share my experience with the world.

Cold Water Bath: Taking a daily cold water bath has been a transformative experience. At first, the idea of immersing myself in cold water was daunting, but the benefits soon became apparent. Cold water therapy invigorates the body, stimulating blood circulation and boosting the immune system. Forest bathing, a practice originating in Japan known as "Shinrin-Yoku" involves mindfully walking and meditating in nature. The fresh air, natural aromas and calming ambiance have a remarkable impact on stress reduction, mental clarity and emotional well-being. Forests emit special compounds called phytoncides, which boost our immune system and promote healing. The sense of peace and harmony I experience during forest bathing not only adds blissfulness to my life but enhances the quality of my life significantly.

Through my personal journey of embracing the three simple keys of cold water bath, sun bath and forest bath, I have unlocked the potential for living healthy and blissful life. These ancient practices have enriched my life by improving my physical health, mental clarity, emotional well-being and overall vitality. By incorporating these natural therapies into my daily routine, I have discovered a profound sense of balance and contentment that continues to support my goals of living a healthy and happy life. How did Nietzsche become insane? नित्से कसरी पागल भए ?



१९ औँ शताब्दीको विश्वविख्यात जर्मन दार्शनिक एवं कवि फ्रेडरिक नित्से (Friedrich Nietzsche) एकदम करुणाले भरिएका व्यक्ति थिए । उनी मनबाट जति कोमल थिए त्यो भन्दा बढी उनी एकदम रमाइला, एकदम हँसिला एवं प्रकृतिवादी थिए । उहाँ स्विजर्ल्यान्डको बसेल युनिभर्सिटीको प्रोफेसर हुनुहुन्थ्यो । सारा जीवजन्तु, चराचुरुङ्गी, किराफट्यांग्रा, ढुङ्गा, माटो, जल, वायु, वनस्पति, आकाश, सूर्य, अग्नि सबै सबै पक्षहरू एक अर्का बिच घनिष्ट पारस्परिक सम्बन्ध रहेको हुन्छ त्यसैले हामीले सबैको प्रेमपूर्वक सम्मान गर्नुपर्छ भन्ने विचार थियो उनको । 

एक पटक नित्से इटालीको टुरिन सहर भ्रमण गर्दै थिए । अकस्मात् सडकमा एक जना मानिसले एउटा घोडालाई दुर्व्यवहार वा कुटपिट गरिरहेको नित्सेले देखे । त्यो दृश्य देखेर नित्से एकदम विचलित भए, भावविभोर भए र उनी घोडाको छेउमा पुगे । र, घोडालाई सुमसुमाउँदै बर-बर्ती आँसु झार्दै रुन थाले । अनि, घोडाले पनि भावविभोर नित्सेको कोमल मनको पीडा बुझेर शिर झुकायो ।  

तर, दुःखद कुरा के हो भने, यस घटना पछि नित्सेको मानसिक स्वास्थ्य बिग्रिन थाल्यो । बिस्तारै बिस्तारै उनको मानसिक विघटन बढ्दै गयो । यतिसम्म भयो कि पछि उनले जीवनभर मानसिक आश्रय-स्थल (asylum) मा बिताउनु पर्‍यो । भनिन्छ, उनको पागलपना सुरु हुनुमा त्यही इटालीको सहरमा घोडालाई कसैले निर्घात कुटेको देखेको घटनाले बढी प्रभाव पार्‍यो । 

त्यसर्थ, मानिसको मनको कोमलतामा कहाँनेर कतिखेर चोट पुग्न सक्छ भन्ने कुरा हामी सबैले हरेक पल मनमा लिनुपर्दछ र सकेसम्म सृष्टिको सबै सबै पक्षहरूसँग घनिष्टतम सम्बन्ध, सम्मान र सद्भाव राख्नुपर्दछ भन्ने कुरा हामीले भुल्नुहुँदैन ।

१८ औँ शताब्दीका विश्वविख्यात जर्मन दार्शनिक/विचारक इम्यानुअल कान्ट (Immanuel Kant) आफ्नो दैनिक दिनचर्याको सन्दर्भमा एकदम अनुशासित व्यक्तिको रूपमा प्रख्यात छन् । विशेष गरी पंचुआलीटी वा समयको सम्मानमा उनी जीवनभर एक सेकेन्ड पनि तलमाथि चुकेनन् । त्यसैले, उनलाई घडीको सेकेन्ड सुई अनुसार चल्ने दार्शनिकको रूपमा पनि चिनिन्छ । उहाँ कोनिस्बर्ग युनिभर्सिटीको प्रोफेसर हुनुहुन्थ्यो ।

उनी हरेक दिन बेलुकाको ठ्याक्क ३ बजेपछि जङ्गलतिर बरालिन वा जङ्गल बाथको लागि वाकिङ जाने गर्नुहुन्थ्याे । यतिसम्मकी, उनको गृहनगर कोनिग्सबर्गका मानिसहरूले आफ्ना कामहरूको रुटिन नै कान्ट हिँडेको आवाजसँग सेट गरेका रहेछन् । अर्थात्, जब कान्ट हिँडेको आवाज आउँछ तब छिमेकीहरूले लु बेलुकाको ३ बजिसकेछ भन्दा रहेछन् । 

एक पटक एक जना छिमेकीले कान्टको नियमित हिँड्ने समय भन्दा केही मिनेट ढिला भइसक्दा पनि कान्ट नआएको नोटिस गरेछन् । तब, ती छिमेकी न कान्टलाइ केहि भएछ कि भनेर चिन्तित हुँदै जाँच गर्न कान्टको घरमा पुगेछन् । तर, त्यतिखेरसम्म कान्ट उनको नियमित वाकिङको लागि तयार हुँदै रहेछन् । 

अनि, ती छिमेकीले छक्क पर्दै सोधेछन्- प्रोफेसर! तपाइ आज किन ढिला हिँड्दै हुनुहुन्छ, के गडबडी भयो भन्नुस त?
तब कान्टले हाँस्दै भनेछन- "हेर्न्नुस न, हिजो मैले आजदेखि १५ मिनेट ढिला हिँड्न सुरु गर्ने निर्णय गरेँ, तर मैले जानाजान गरेको १५ मिनेट ढिला हिँड्ने निर्णयमा अडिक रहेर ठ्याक्कै १५ मिनेट ढिला हिँड्न थाल्नको लागि, अर्थात् १५ मिनेट समय विताउनकाे लागि एक पटक मोजा र जुत्ता लगाएर फुकालेर फेरी लगाउँदै छु ताकि म मेराे हिजाेकाे निर्णय अनुसार ठ्याक्कै १५ मिनेट ढिला हिँड्न थाल्न सकूँ ।" 

कान्टको यस कथनबाट के थाहा हुन्छ भने उनी उनको दिनचर्याप्रति कति समयनिष्ठ, प्रतिबद्ध र अनुशासित थिए । उनी यस्ता थिए कि, बिहानको १२ बज्यो भनेपछि ठ्याक्कै लन्च खानै पर्ने, साँझ ६ बज्यो भनेपछि डिनर खानै पर्ने, बेलुकाको ९ बज्यो भनेपछि सुत्नै पर्ने । हामी पनि थाेरबहुत समयनिष्ठ हुन सिकौँ ।

The feeling of being in the presence of such a remarkable individual was truly humbling. And, over the course of our conversation, Dr. Das shared captivating stories from his 100 years of experience. His words resonated with a wealth of knowledge and a zest for life that seemed to defy time itself. Each tale he recounted served as a lesson, imparting invaluable wisdom about how to lead a fulfilling and meaningful existence.

Among the many pearls of wisdom he shared, one key insight stood out: the secret to living a century lies in maintaining a balanced lifestyle. Dr. Das emphasized the importance of regular exercise, particularly walking, to keep the body active and the mind sharp. He attributed his own remarkable longevity to this simple yet effective habit, urging me to incorporate it into my own daily routine.

Another essential component, according to Dr. Das, was a light but nourishing diet. He stressed the significance of consuming fresh, green, whole foods and avoiding excessive indulgence. Moderation was the key, he insisted, enabling the body to function optimally and ward off the ailments that often accompany advanced age.

Embracing the Milestone: Reflections on Turning "30"



Having crossed three decades of my life, I have come to truly understand the deep respect we show to our elders. It is because life reveals its most exquisite lessons as it ages. This unfolds through the gentle push of nature and the cosmic energy, making today more beautiful than yesterday, with tomorrow holding promises of an even more enriched life. With deep gratitude, I am embracing each passing year.

Life's every occurrence is guided by the force of nature and the cosmic energy, leading us through different phases of existence, in sync with nature's rhythm. This realization has led me to a profound conclusion- the seemingly ceaseless race of our day-to-day lives holds little significance. Hence, I now emphasize the value of stillness, cherishing the moment, and offering gratitude for this wonderful life. Rather than chasing life's frantic pace, I find solace in aligning with the tranquil cadence of nature.



As I stand at the crossroads of my journey, I find myself embracing a milestone that is as significant as it is symbolic - my 30th birthday. This moment marks the end of an era and the beginning of a new chapter, an opportunity for reflection and anticipation of the road ahead.

A Journey of Lessons and Growth: Life has been an incredible teacher, offering lessons that have molded me into who I am today. From the wide-eyed days of youth to the transformative twenties, every experience has contributed to my growth. Turning 30 is not just about reaching a new age; it is about acknowledging the wisdom gained and the strength cultivated through challenges and triumphs alike.

Nature's Rhythm: Much like the changing seasons, life moves in cycles, and each stage holds its own beauty. The thirties bring a sense of stability and self-assuredness that comes from weathering the storms of the twenties. Just as nature's rhythm guides the ebb and flow of existence, I am reminded that embracing the stillness within and aligning with life's natural cadence can bring profound contentment.

Gratitude and Aspirations: As am sharing my milestone birthday, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the journey so far. Every laugh, tear, success, and setback has contributed to the tapestry of my life. Looking forward, I greet the years ahead with a sense of anticipation and hope. It is a time to dream anew, set new goals, and embrace the adventures waiting for me on the horizon.

Cherishing Moments: In the midst of our fast-paced world, I have come to realize the significance of cherishing moments. Amid the rush of life, it is in the stillness that the most profound revelations arise. I am reminded that it is okay to hit the pause button, to find joy in the simple pleasures, and to be grateful for the beauty of the present.

Lessons Learned: The twenties were a whirlwind of self-discovery, exploration, and learning. In looking back, I see how far I have come from the tentative steps of early adulthood to the strides of confidence and resilience today. The mistakes I made and the victories I achieved have all contributed to my growth. With the thirties comes a new level of self-assuredness, an understanding that every twist and turn has shaped me into a more compassionate, humble and capable individual.

A New Chapter Unfolds: Entering my thirties fills me with a sense of excitement and curiosity. What adventures await in this next chapter? What passions will I pursue, and what dreams will I make a reality? Today, I am not just making a wish for the coming year to honor each passing day, to find beauty in the ordinary; I am setting intentions for the journey ahead. I am ready to take on new challenges, embrace fresh experiences, and continue evolving.

Grateful for Every Moment: In the midst of the reflection, I take a moment to soak it all in - the laughter, the joy, and the warm embraces. I am grateful for every breath, every heartbeat, and every connection that has brought me to this point. With gratitude as my guide, I step into this new decade with a heart full of anticipation and wonder.

So here is to 30 years of life's twists and turns, of growth and change, of laughter and tears. Here is to the memories made and the memories yet to come. As I celebrate this milestone, I do so not just as a mark of time but as a celebration of the extraordinary journey that is life.

प्रसिद्ध दार्शनिक एवं सन्त अगस्तीन (Saint Augustine) ले एकपटक भनेका रहेछन- "हे प्रभु दुनियाँसँग त म आफै निपटलुगाँ, मलाई मैबाट बँचाइदिनुस । किनभने, जीवनमा मैले जे गर्नुपर्ने हो त्यो कहिल्यै गरिराछुइन र जे नगर्नुपर्ने हो त्यस्ता उटपट्याङ गर्नमा भने म निपुर्ण छु" । 

अगस्तीनको यस कथनप्रति मैले पनि गहिरिएर चिन्तन मनन गरें; आखिरिमा थाहा लाग्यो-- सन्त अगस्तीनले खासमा मेरै जीवन बोलिदिएका रहेछन ।

Embracing the profound wisdom of the verse by Santa Sufi, "जीत जीत तुमने उम्र गुजारी, अब तो हार फकीरा" I have discovered a path that leads beyond the confines of competitive races. This verse has gently whispered in my heart that the victories I have achieved throughout my life's journey were not the ultimate goal, but rather stepping stones towards a greater understanding. With each accomplishment, I have realized that I have been nurturing the spirit of a humble "फकीरा," a wanderer detached from worldly gains, who finds solace in the simplicity of existence.

The verse continues with "जीत का मोल चार कौडियां, हार का मोल हीरा" metaphorically expressing a captivating truth. It conveys that in the pursuit of success, the cost is often measured in material terms, symbolized by "चार कौडियां" (coins), while in moments of surrender and letting go, one discovers the priceless treasure of a "हीरा" (diamond) that represents the inner gem of spiritual realization.

In quitting the mad rush for mere achievements, I have found a sanctuary within, where the essence of life is not measured by the fleeting "चार कौडियां" of victories, but rather the timeless "हीरा" of inner transformation. This precious gem of understanding reminds me that every experience, whether labeled a victory or defeat, contributes to my spiritual evolution. Just as a "हीरा" remains radiant regardless of its setting, my inner light gleams brighter, liberated from the weight of expectations and comparisons.

Now, I have chosen to stride with a heart full of gratitude and a soul at peace. Each step I take is no longer burdened by the desire for victory, but guided by the wisdom of surrender. The verse's guidance has turned my life into a canvas where I paint with the hues of contentment and self-discovery. It is as if every day is a gentle reminder that my journey is not defined by races won or lost, but by the authenticity of my presence and the depth of my experiences.

तर, एउटो सोलिफिस्टो चरा पनि हामीभन्दा बाठो छ



हामी ठान्दछौं कि पृथ्वी हाम्रो मात्रै रजाइँ गर्ने मैदान हो । खासमा पृथ्वी हाम्रो भन्दा बढी त जीवजन्तु, चराचुरुङ्गी, किराफट्याङ्ग्रा र रूख-बोट-बिरुवा इत्यादिको घर हो । तर, हामीले विलासी जीवन जिउने शिलशिलामा, विकासको नाममा यो साझा पृथ्वीको कयौं रूखहरू काटेर उजाड बनाएका छौं, कयौं जीवजन्तूहरूलाइ मारेका छौ, कयौं चराचुरुङ्गीको घर भत्काइदिएका छौ, प्रविधिको नाममा कयौं हानिकारक केमिकलहरू, विकिरणहरू, मेसिनहरू र मिसाइलहरू बनाईरहेका छौं, जसले पृथ्वी र पृथ्वीवासी सबैमा तिब्र गतिमा हानि पुगिरहेको छ । 

हामिले के भुल्नु भएन भने पृथ्वीमा हाम्रो जति अधिकार छ उति नै समान अधिकार अरू जिवजन्तुहरूको पनि छ । हामीले हामीलाई खुबै बाठो भन्ठान्छौ होला तर एउटा सोलिफिस्टो चरा पनि हामीभन्दा बाठो छ । त्यसर्थ, हामी पनि आफुलाई कृतिम हैन कि प्राकृतिक मानव आत्मसात गरी प्रकृतिको लयमा मिलेर बसौं ! एकअर्कालाई हानि नपुर्याई प्रेम र सद्भावपूर्ण तरिकाले शान्तिपूर्वक बसौं । #EnvironmentDay
